Knee pain increasing for about a year. After a series of 5 hyaluronic injections during 5 weeks in Europe: incredible improvement. My osteoarthritis was moderate on x-rays of both knees, maybe this relatively early intervention facilitated the success. Can now move pain-free, with just a bit of stiffness after prolonged rest. The improvement seems miraculous.
The first four times it lasted for six months and completely relieved the pain. The last set of injections lasted only about two months before pain returned. Apparently this is a common experience—after a few sets of injections it becomes less effective.
